Adelaide Ferguson
Adelaide B. “Abby” Gibson Ferguson, 70, of Butler passed away at 6:40 a.m. Saturday at the VNA Inpatient Hospice in Butler.
She was born April 1, 1940, in Sherette, Armstrong County, the daughter of the late Ralph Hepler and Dorothy (Long) Hepler.
She was a nurse's aide for the Butler VNA.
Abby was a member of the Women of the Moose 64.
Surviving are two daughters, Rhonda (Butch Hogue) Gibson of Butler and Robin L. (Anthony) Morabito of Butler; a son, Kevin Gibson of Butler; five grandchildren, Ashley, Nicholas and Dominic Morabito and David and Brandy Hogue; a sister, Esther (Joseph) Shultz of Fenelton; and a number of nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, John E. Gibson Jr., who died Oct. 26, 1982; a son, Brian John Gibson; and a sister-in-law, Judith Tusi.
