Wayne Charles Boyle, 57, of Pataskala, Ohio, formerly of Mars, died late Monday evening in Columbus, Ohio, following an extended illness.

He was born Aug. 26, 1954, in Butler, the son of the late Hugh Charles Boyle and Lesley Boyle of Lady Lakes, Fla.

He was a self-employed contractor and a hard worker, who loved his grandchildren and enjoyed hunting and all Pittsburgh sports.

He was a former Shriner.

He is survived by his loving family. In addition to his mother are his wife, Joanne (Veccharella), who he married July 24, 1976; his daughter, Lisa Boyle of Hilliard, Ohio; his son, Michael Boyle of Pataskala; his grandchildren, Jaren and Melia Boyle; his brother, Michael (Julie) Boyle of Ocala, Fla.; his sister, Donita (Skip) Munroe of Land-O-Lakes, Fla.; his mother-in-law, Mary Veccharella of Valencia; and many nieces and nephews.

In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by a brother, Shawn Boyle, in 1969.

Main St., Kirkersville, Ohio. Visitation also will be from 9 to 10 a.m. Saturday in the Day Chapel at Holy Sepulcher Church in Middlesex Township. A funeral Mass celebrating his life will follow at 10 a.m. Saturday at the church with the Rev. John Gizler as celebrant. Burial will follow at Mars Cemetery.The family prefers that memorials be directed to the Bone Marrow Research Program at the Arthur C.
