CHICORA — District Judge Lewis Stoughton recently heard these cases filed by state police:

Stephanie Ann Barron, 33, of Cheswick waived to court charges of retail theft and corruption of minors, filed Nov. 16.

John Best, 21, of Chicora waived to court charges of two counts of aggravated assault, possession of drug paraphernalia, two counts of simple assault, fleeing, duties at stop sign and not driving at a safe speed, filed Dec. 19.

Jeremy Bodema, 38, of Boyers waived to court charges of driving under the influence, operating a vehicle without insurance, disregard of traffic lane, not driving at a safe speed and careless driving, filed Nov. 16.

Kristopher Clarke, 21, of Butler pleaded guilty to charges of possession of drug paraphernalia and retail theft, filed Nov. 5. He was ordered to pay $408.50 in fines and court costs.

Donald B. Covert, 51, of Butler was held for court on charges of aggravated assault, terroristic threats, simple assault, recklessly endangering another person, harassment and disorderly conduct, filed Sept. 6.

Michael Hollman, 43, of Columbia, Ill., was held for court on charges of driving under the influence and duties at stop sign, filed Dec. 6.

Maureen Oday, 49, of Kennerdell waived to court charges of driving under the influence, disregard of traffic lane and careless driving, filed Nov. 7.

Joseph P. Switzer, 29, of Butler waived to court charges of driving under the influence, disregard of traffic lane and careless driving, filed Nov. 23.

SLIPPERY ROCK — District Judge Tim Shaffer recently heard these cases:Charles Dean Moore, 51, of Grove City waived to court charges of DUI, restrictions on alcoholic beverages and period for required lights, filed Oct. 19 by Harrisville police.Larry Wayne Tyson, 61, of Evans City, waived to court charges of DUI and public drunkenness, filed Nov. 2 by state police.Chelsea L. Crawford, 20, of Gibsonia waived to court charges of DUI, DUI-minor, careless driving, minor prohibited to operate vehicle with alcohol and underage drinking, filed Oct. 26 by Slippery Rock University police.

EVANS CITY — District Judge Wayne Seibel recently heard these cases:Phillip Raymond Arena, 25, of Pittsburgh waived his case to court. He was charged Nov. 17 by Jackson Township police with driving under the influence of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia.Brandon Allen Norris, 18, of Butler waived his case to court. He was charged Nov. 8 by the state police with theft by unlawful taking.Kenneth David Yockey, 45, of Butler waived his case to court. He was charged Oct. 21 by the state police with driving under the influence of alcohol and careless driving.

CRANBERRY TWP — District Judge Dave Kovach recently heard these cases filed by Cranberry Township police:Eric Daniel Rutledge, 18, of Seven Fields waived his case to court. He was charged Nov. 17 with criminal homicide.James Daniel Bilka, 46, of Mars had his case held to court. He was charged Sept. 17 with driving under the influence of alcohol.Christopher John Cunningham, 28, of Butler waived his case to court. He was charged Oct. 13 by county detectives with possession with the intent to deliver a controlled substance and criminal use of a communication facility.
