Emma Greer Miller

Emma M. (Greer) Miller, 94, of Butler died at 6:15 a.m. Thursday in the Sunnyview Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.

Born Oct. 17, 1916, in Butler, she was the daughter of the late John A. Greer and Garnet A. Goughler Greer.

Mrs. Miller was a homemaker.

She was a member of the First English Lutheran Church and a former member of the Women of the Moose in Butler.

Mrs. Miller is survived by one daughter, Patricia A. and her husband, George Stevenson, of Butler; one granddaughter, Karissa M. Wolfe of Butler; two great-grandchildren, Codie Stevenson and Colton Stevenson; and a number of nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, Mrs. Miller was preceded in death by her husband, Paul J. “Pete” Miller, who passed away Feb. 14, 1994; one grandson, Patrick Stevenson; two sisters; and one brother.

<B>MILLER</B> —There will be no public visitation. A memorial service for Emma M. (Greer) Miller, who died Thursday, Nov. 25, 2010, will be at the First English Lutheran Church on Saturday, Dec. 4, at 3 p.m. with the Rev. James W. Dollhopf of the First English Lutheran Church officiating. Entombment will be in the Chapel of Devotion Mausoleum at Butler County Memorial Park.In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the First English Lutheran Church, 241 N. Main St., Butler, PA 16001.Arrangements are under the direction of the <B>Thompson-Miller Funeral Home</B>, and information and a private guest book are available at www.thompson-miller.com.
