Jerome McAfee

Jerome David McAfee, 76, of 102 Spruce St., Slippery Rock, died Monday evening at Butler Memorial Hospital.

He was born March 17, 1934, in Baltimore, Md., to John and Mary McAfee.

He was a veteran of the U.S. Army, a retired truck driver, and he loved fishing and airplanes.

He is survived by five sons, Jerry McAfee of Florida, Steve McAfee of Cincinnati, Ohio, John McAfee of Sidney, Ohio, Scott McAfee of New Kent, Va., and Brett McAfee of Cincinnati, Ohio; three daughters, Linda Moy of Monroeville, Lori Remaley of Delmont, and Kim McAfee of Monroeville; 13 brothers and sisters; several grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.

He was preceded in death by his parents and one son.

<B>MCAFEE</B> — Friends of Jerome David McAfee, who died Monday, Nov. 22, 2010, will be received at the <B>SMITH FUNERAL HOME</B>, 421 New Castle St., Slippery Rock, Friday from 4 to 7 p.m. Funeral services will be held Friday at 7 p.m. at the funeral home. The Rev. Jim Lewis of West Liberty United Methodist Church will officiate.
