Marian C. Kennihan

Marian C. Norris Kennihan, 91, of Phoenix, Ariz., formerly of Key Largo, Fla., died Sunday morning at her home.

Born in West Deer Township on Dec. 2, 1918, she was the daughter of the late John C. and Annie B. Donaldson Norris.

Marian had been a beautician in Cooperstown for 15 years and had worked at Rich's Department Store and Kaufmann's in Pittsburgh.

She was a member of Glade Run United Presbyterian Church in Middlesex Township, where she taught Sunday school. She also had been a Girl Scout Leader in Cooperstown.

She is survived by a daughter, Elizabeth Kennedy and her husband, Mark, of Phoenix, Ariz.; two sons, James Belliveau of Wexford and Marshall Brown of Phoenix, Ariz.; five grandchildren; and a sister, Helen Schroeder and her husband, Morris, of State College.

She was preceded in death by her husband, William Kennihan, who died in 1995, and by her brothers, Emmett, Wilmer, Vernon and Eugene Norris.

<B>KENNIHAN</B> — There will be no visitation for Marian C. Norris Kennihan, who died Sunday, Nov. 21, 2010. Friends are invited to a memorial service at Glade Run United Presbyterian Church, 1091 Pittsburgh Rd. Valencia at 1 p.m. Saturday. The Rev. Greg Wiest will officiate.
