Frank Grannon
Frank E. “Whitey” Grannon, 80, of Callery passed away Saturday evening, Nov. 20, at his residence.
Born June 30, 1930, in Zanes-ville, Ohio, he was the son of Guy and Gertrude Woodward Grannon.
He was of the Protestant faith.
He retired as a welder from Woodward, Inc., Mars, with 26 years of service.
He had been a boxer in the Lightweight Division at the Butler Cubs.
He was preceded in death by a sister, three brothers and a son-in-law, Don Christy.
He is survived by his wife, Jean DeHart Grannon, who he married Dec. 24, 1954; two daughters, Sherry Christy of Evans City and Candy (Phil) Saac of Evans City; a son, Frank (Andrea) Grannon of Harmony; eight grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
<B>GRANNON — </B>Relatives and friends of Frank E. “Whitey” Grannon, who died Sat., Nov. 20, 2010, will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. today at the <B>A. CARL KINSEY-RONALD N. VOLZ FUNERAL HOME, INC., </B>328 W. Main St., Evans City. Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday, with the Rev. Mark Plumb, Fountain Park Presbyterian Church in Cranberry Township, officiating.
