Hartzell, Hoffman
Janelle Hartzell of Slippery Rock and James Hoffman of New Ringgold were united in marriage June 19 at Center Presbyterian Church in Slippery Rock. The Rev. William Mumaw officiated. A reception followed at Betsy’s Barn in Portersville.
The bride is the daughter of George and Kathy Hartzell of Slippery Rock. Parents of the bridegroom are Rick and Charlene Hoffman of New Ringgold.
The honor attendant was Michelle Hartzell of Slippery Rock. Bridesmaids included Jaclyn Hoffman of New Ringgold, Amy Miller of Davidsville, Pa., Lisa Rankin of Quarryville, Pa., Emily Caldwell of Beaver Falls and Sonya Mamovzadeh of Slippery Rock. The flower girl was Katie Cafaro of Gibsonia.
Performing the duties of best man was Jordan Hoffman of New Ringgold. Ushers included Dan Hartzell of Slippery Rock, Brent Schuler of Fleetwood, Pa., Kenny Gulas of Orwigsburg, Pa., Jack Correll of Newmanstown, Pa., and Tony Domday of Barnesville, Pa.
The bride is a 2006 graduate of Slippery Rock High School and a 2010 graduate of Penn State University. She is attending the School of Veterinary Medicine at the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
The bridegroom graduated in 2004 from Blue Mountain High School and in 2008 from Penn State University. He is employed by Frontier FS in Argyle, Wisc.
Following a honeymoon trip to Jamaica, the couple is making their home in Madison, Wisc.
