Man sentenced on drug charge
A city man will spend between 21 and to 42 months in state prison on a drug charge.
Albert T. Estes, 28, of Howard Street pleaded guilty to possession of cocaine with the intent to deliver. He was sentenced Monday by Butler County Judge Timothy McCune.
The judge agreed to give the defendant credit for the time he has spent in prison since his arrest by the Butler County Drug Task Force May 14.
At that time, Estes was on state parole stemming from a no-contest plea in a 2002 robbery in Allegheny County.
Estes’ criminal record shows he also has several felony drug convictions in Allegheny County.
