Anna Mitchell participated in the amphibious landing exercise, Phiblex ’11 on the island of Luzon, Philippines.The exercise allowed American servicemembers to train in a foreign environment and get a better understanding of how American and Filipino military operations function together.She is the daughter of Noel and Mary Mitchell of Slippery Rock.Mitchell is a 2007 graduate of Slippery Rock High School.
