Illig, Rowe

Jocelyn and Chase Rowe

Jocelyn Illig and Chase Rowe, both of Pittsburgh, were united in marriage Sept. 17 at Whalehead Beach in Corolla, N.C. The Rev. Dr. David Keller officiated. A reception followed at the Young Peoples Community Center in Ebensburg.

The bride is the daughter of Dan and Annette Illig of Ebensburg. Parents of the bridegroom are Tracy and Debbie Rowe of Saxonburg.

The maid of honor was Kate Illig of Pittsburgh. Bridesmaids included Marisa Rowe of Pittsburgh, Alison Ball of York, Nicole Tremel of Pittsburgh and Emily Winterich of Cleveland.

Performing the duties of best man was Justin Conklin of Pittsburgh. Ushers included Ray Antonelli of Pittsburgh, Rocco DeAngelo of Pittsburgh, Dave Gonos of Greensburg and Phil Avolio of Pittsburgh.

The bride is a 2002 graduate of Central Cambria High School. She graduated in 2006 with a bachelor’s in English from Slippery Rock University and in 2009 with a secondary education teaching certificate from the University of Pittsburgh. She is employed as a teacher in Pittsburgh.

The bridegroom graduated in 2001 from Knoch High School and in 2005 from Slippery Rock University. He is employed by la Roche College in Pittsburgh.

The couple is making their home in Pittsburgh.
