Gardner, Lutz
Shelly Gardner and Brian Lutz were united in marriage Sept. 11 at Christ United Methodist Church in Charleston, W.Va. The Rev. Randall Flannigan officiated. A reception followed at the Edgewood Country Club in Charleston.
The bride is the daughter of William Gardner of Charleston, W.Va., and the late Jeannie Gardner.
Parents of the bridegroom are Larry and Judy Lutz of Buffalo Township.
The maid of honor was Mary Gardner Stewart. Bridesmaids included Maria Lutz, Melanie Lutz and Shannon Sothen. The flower girl was Molly Fitzpatrick.
Performing the duties of best man was Kevin Lutz. Ushers included Michael Lutz, Mark Stewart, and Joe Sothen. Ring bearers were Jack Turner and David Malcolm.
The bride is a 2001 graduate of George Washington High School. She received a bachelor’s in business administration in 2005 from the University of Charleston and graduated in May 2010 from Elon University School of Law in Greensboro, N.C.
The bridegroom is a 1999 graduate of Freeport High School. He received a bachelor’s in business and economics in 2003 from Lafayette College, Easton, and graduated in 2009 from Elon University School of Law. He is a lawyer with Lutz and Pawk in Butler.
Following a 10-day honeymoon trip to Belize, the couple is residing in Wexford.
