Rebecca Jean (Montgomery) Meckley, 60, of Cabot died Friday at her home surrounded by her loving family.

Born Nov. 6, 1950, in Burbank, Calif., she was a daughter of the late John Calvin and Norma Jean Thomas Montgomery.

Rebecca worked at H.P. Starr and also worked at Du-Co Ceramics, Saxonburg, for many years.

She enjoyed going to camp and loved spending time with her family and friends.

Surviving are her husband of 40 years, Richard Meckley of Cabot; a daughter, Georgette (Floyd) Pennington of Punxsutawney; a son, Brian (Denise) Meckley of Kennerdell; granddaughters, Brittany, Brittany, Kalsea and Rose; two sisters, Emily Montgomery of Tarentum and Florence Spellman of Evans City; three brothers, Leroy (Bette) Montgomery, Roger Montgomery of New York, and Robert (Lisa) Montgomery of Lower Burrell.
