Elverna N. "Vicki" Kent, 80, formerly of the Lafayette Apartments, died Wednesday at 1 p.m. in the Autumn Grove Care Center, Harrisville.

Born June 14, 1930, in Hedgesville, N.Y., she was the daughter of the late Louis Vance and Nellie A. Enerson Vance.

Mrs. Kent was a homemaker and had been a waitress at the Summit Diner. She retired in 1960.

Mrs. Kent attended the Community Alliance Church and the North Main Street Church of God.

She loved children and animals.

Mrs. Kent is survived by several cousins and one sister-in-law, Clara.

Mrs. Kent was preceded in death by her husband, Theodore V. Kent, who she married July 3, 1948, and who passed away May 10, 1991.
