STAFF CHANGES
Butler Health System on Thursday announced several changes to its administrative team.
• John Righetti, who has served for 22 years as health system spokesman as well as the head of the system's foundation, is resigning at the end of the year.
Righetti said he has no definite plans at this time, but wants to look at other job opportunities in the Pittsburgh region. He lives in Mount Nebo, Allegheny County.
• Stephanie Roskovski of Butler has been promoted to vice president of operations. A graduate of West Virginia University, she has served for several years as a member of the health system's administrative team, most recently as vice president of Outpatient Services.In her new position, Roskovski will continue to oversee outpatient services and sites, as well as the Emergency Department and Urgent Care services, the cardiovascular service line and for the practices owned by BHS and physician relationships with the system.
• Karen Allen, a registered nurse who lives in Adams Township, has been promoted to vice president of Ancillary and Critical Care Services. She is a graduate of the University of Pittsburgh and has been a member of the BHS management team for six years, initially as director of Surgical Services and then promoted to assistant vice president of Patient Care ServicesIn her new role, Allen will oversee surgical and critical care services, pharmacy, cardiology, respiratory, orthopedic, rehabilitative and medical ambulatory services and the hospital auxiliary.
• Joining the administrative team is Kevin Stansbury of Scottsbluff, Neb. He has been named vice president of Business Development and Corporate Image, and has a master's degree in health services administration from Central Michigan University, and a degree from the University of Wyoming College of Law.He will be responsible for strategic and new business planning, overseeing the marketing, public relations, the BHS Foundation, hospitality services, facilities/engineering and construction management.Stansbury has served as chief operating officer for Carson Tahoe Regional Healthcare in Carson City, Nev. He also has worked with Ritter Project Management.
