White Sr.

Gary White Sr., 69, of Harmony died Friday in the comfort of his home surrounded by his family.

Born Dec. 19, 1940, in Middle Lancaster, he was the son of the late Robert and Hazel (Schott) White.

A lifetime member of the Zion Lutheran Church, Gary proudly served his country in the U.S. Navy.

He was a member of Local Union 3 of the Pittsburgh Ironworkers, the American Legion Post 474 and the Hungarian Club.

In addition, he was an avid golfer and hunter.

He is survived by his beloved wife of 46 years, Loree (Lumley) White, who he married Nov. 22, 1963; a daughter, Lora Dalton and her husband, Mike, of Harmony; a son, Gary White and his wife, Sue, of Zelienople; two sisters, Kathy Miller of Zelienople and Bonnie Lane of Mesa, Ariz.; a brother, Bob White of Cottonwood, Ariz.; and three grandchildren, Gary White III, Sarah Ann White and Kyle Dalton.

<B>WHITE</B> — Friends of Gary White Sr., who died Friday, Oct. 29, 2010, will be received from 7 to 9 p.m. today at <B>Boylan Funeral Home</B>, 324 E. Grandview Ave., Zelienople. Additional visitation will be Tuesday from 10:30 until the time of services at 11:30 a.m. at the Zion Lutheran Church, 557 Perry Highway/Route 19, Harmony, with the Rev. Barbara Love, officiating.
