Vocational and Psychological Services in Butler has received a state grant to promote the employment of persons with disabilities.

To that end, the service is hosting two sessions Dec. 6 to inform business owners, human resource representatives, service providers for the disabled, consumer advocates and disabled job seekers about the services offered.

The meeting is at First United Methodist Church, Epworth Center, 200 E. North St., in Butler.

The first session runs from 9 to 11 a.m. and includes breakfast. The second session runs from noon to 2 p.m. and includes lunch.

The goal is to find more employment opportunities for disabled persons.
