Lauren Fitzhugh and Matthew Crawford, both of Charleston, S.C., were united in marriage June 26 at French Hugenot Church in Charleston, S.C. The Rev. Thomas Guerry officiated. A reception followed at the Hibernion Hall.
The bride is the daughter of Jan and Robert Fitzhugh of Charlotte, N.C. Parents of the bridegroom are Thomas and Julie Crawford of Butler.
The honor attendant was Jaime Shafter of Washington, D.C. Bridesmaids included Shannon English of Butler, Kayte Randazzo of Charleston, S.C., Betsy Simms of Indianapolis, Ind., Kelly Stewart of Blacksburg, Va., and Sarah Wurzburg of Seattle. The flower girl was Susie Mitchell of Jackson, Miss.
Performing the duties of best man was Doug Wurster of Charleston, S.C. Ushers included Ryan English of Butler, John Brough of Valencia, Kevin Choyka of Ormond Beach, Fla., Nick Chiappini of Stafford, Va., and Mike Ludwig of Pittsburgh. The ring bearer was Jacks Mitchell of Jackson, Miss.
The bride is a 2003 graduate of New Trier High School and a 2006 graduate of Clemson University. She is employed by Blackbaud in Charleston, S.C.
The bridegroom graduated in 1999 from Butler High School and in 2003 from the University of Pittsburgh. He is employed by Blackbaud in Charleston, S.C.
Following a honeymoon trip to Punta Cana, Dominican Republic, the couple is making their home in Daniel Island, Charleston, S.C.
