Elizabeth "Betty" (McKay) Seman, 88, of Hampton Township died Saturday in UPMC Passavant hospital.

She was born Sept. 2, 1922, in Glassport, to the late Charles and Marie Wiltfener McKay.

Mrs. Seman retired as an outpatient clerk at the former St. Francis Hospital on Penn Avenue in Pittsburgh.

She was a member of the St. Catherine of Sweden Catholic Church.

She enjoyed her grandchildren, reading, watching soaps and her special time commitment to the rosary.

She is survived by three children, Thomas (Stana) Seman of Mars, Richard (Joann) Seman of Hampton Township and Barbara (Paul) Rude of Middlesex Township; a stepson, George "Butch" S. of Tennessee; eight grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; her sister, Louise Szelong of Freedom; and a brother, George (Joan "Jan") McKay of Blawnox.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, George Seman, who passed away May 1, 1965; a daughter, Karen Seman; a granddaughter, Sheryl Ann Seman; and a brother, Charles Mckay.

<B>SEMAN </B>— Visitation for Elizabeth "Betty" (McKay) Seman, who died Saturday, Oct. 16, 2010, will be today from 6 to 8 p.m. and on Tuesday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. at the <B>Herbert R. King, Jr. Funeral Home</B>, 2841 Woodland Circle, Allison Park. A Mass of Christian burial will be Wednesday at 9:30 a.m. at the St. Catherine of Sweden Roman Catholic Church, 2554 Wildwood Road in Wildwood with Father Pat Barkey officiating.
