Long, Muschick

Amber and Ryan Muschick

Amber Long and Ryan Muschick, both of Canonsburg, were united in marriage Aug. 14 at St. James Catholic Church in Sewickley. The Rev. Dan Valentine officiated. A reception followed at The Fez.

The bride is the daughter of Bob and Marianne Long of Butler. Parents of the bridegroom are Bob and Gwen Muschick of Sandy Lake.

The maids of honor were Lindsay Wiefling of Clarion and Lauren Wiefling of Warren, Pa. Bridesmaids included Elaine Voltz of Waldorf, Md., Jen Voltz of Winston-Salem, N.C., Missy Opalanko of Canonsburg, Karen Allen of Bridgeville, Emily Rekich of Butler and Alyssa Rekich of Butler. The junior bridesmaid was Madison Long of Gibsonia. The flower girl was Becca Stanish of Oil City.

Performing the duties of best man was Robert Muschick of Sandy Lake. Groomsmen included R.J. Long of Pittsburgh, Matt Lackey of Sandy Lake, Brian Gargone of Charleston, S.C., Ryan Skyta of Scranton, Ryan Rekich of Butler, Ben Fonzo of Union City and Brad Foster of Fredonia. The junior groomsman was Aidan Long of Philadelphia. The ring bearers were Brady Long of Gibsonia, Nathan Long of Philadelphia and Noah Rigg of Butler.

The bride is a 2004 graduate of Knoch High School and a 2008 graduate of Lock Haven University. She is employed by the Trinity Area School District in Washington, Pa.

The bridegroom graduated in 2004 from Lakeview High School, in 2008 from Lock Haven University and in 2010 from Duquesne University. He is employed by Wheeling Hospital in Wheeling, W.Va.

The couple is making their home in Canonsburg.
