Cabot native Olive "Mimi" (Sell) Heck, 101, owner of the Remnant Shop in Cabot and the Tres' Chic dress store in Pittsburgh, passed away Aug. 21 in Hilton Head, S.C.

She is survived by a son, John "Jay" Francis Heck III and his wife, Janet, of Lincoln City, Ore.; a daughter, Marilyn Oesterling of Hilton Head Island, S.C.; four grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; a great-great-grandchild; and a son-in-law, William Chandler of Arvada, Colo.

She was predeceased by a daughter, Nina Ann Chandler.

<B>HECK </B>— A chapel service for the final resting place of Olive "Mimi" (Sell) Heck, who died Saturday. Aug. 21, 2010, will be at 1 p.m. Oct. 18 at the Mount Airy Cemetery, Natrona Heights.
