Karen L. Marzano, 63, of Cabot passed away Sunday at the Good Samaritan Hospice.

Born May 13, 1947, in Tarentum, she was the daughter of Stanley and Elma "Chris" Schrieber Zalus.

She had worked as a bar tender at the Star Grille.

She was a member of St. Luke's Lutheran Church in Saxonburg.

She liked to play bingo and Texas hold'em and her hobby was owl collectibles.

Surviving are three sons, Frank (Debbie) Marzano of Butler, Ronald (Mary) Marzano of Verona and Edward (Mandi) Marzano of Kill Devil Hills, N.C.; three brothers, Ken (Missy) Zalus of Sarver, John (Karen) Zalus of Tarentum and Stush (Linda) Zalus of Saltsburg; three grandchildren, Sherrylynn Marzano, Ashley Marzano and Breanna Marzano; and two great-grandchildren, Grant and Allison.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

<B>MARZANO</B> — Friends of Karen L. Marzano, who died Sunday, Oct. 10, 2010, will be received Tuesday from 6 to 7:30 p.m. at the <B>Fox Funeral Home</B>, Saxonburg. Funeral services will follow at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday with the Rev. Roger Keller officiating.
