Margaret Campbell
Margaret V. "Maggie" Campbell, 68, of 1408 N. Main St. Ext., Butler, died at 8:46 p.m. Monday in Butler Memorial Hospital.
Born Dec. 2, 1941, in Butler, she was the daughter of the late John "Jack" Herr and Margaret (Virginia) Heck Herr.
Mrs. Campbell graduated from Indiana (Pa.) University with an undergraduate degree and earned her master's from Slippery Rock University.
She previously lived and worked in Florida and Ohio. She formerly worked at the J.C. Penney Beauty Salon at the Clearview Mall.
She enjoyed volunteering at the Tanglewood Center and working with handicapped individuals. She enjoyed parties, picnics and playtime with her grandchildren.
Mrs. Campbell was preceded in death by her husband, John "Jack" Campbell, in February 1993.
Mrs. Campbell is survived by two sons, Brian Campbell and Gregg Campbell; one daughter, Deanna (Campbell) VanWyck; six grandchildren, Brian Campbell Jr., Kenny Campbell, Aaron Campbell, Nathan Campbell, Ashton VanWyck and Ariana VanWyck; and one sister, Nancy (Herr) Schleicher.
<B>CAMPBELL </B>— A graveside service for Margaret V. "Maggie" Campbell, who died Monday, Oct. 4, 2010, will be at the North Side Cemetery on Saturday at 10 a.m. with Pastor Jeff Curtis of the Mount Chestnut Presbyterian Church officiating.In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Polycystic Kidney Disease Foundation at www.pkdcure.org.Arrangements are being handled by the <B>Thompson-Miller Funeral Home</B>, Butler.
