Holy Sepulcher School and parish raised $1,005 this year to support a Catholic mission in Chimbote, Peru.
The mission features a hospital that offers a safe environment for delivering babies and provides infant care not otherwise available to the poor.
Each year, the sixth, seventh and eighth grade students build a model by cutting pieces of construction paper and placing it on a wall at the school.
This year, they built a church with thousands of paper bricks, shingles and stained glass windows cut and sold for 25 cents, $1 and $3 respectively.
