Emily Borland and John Wong

A May wedding is being planned by Emily Borland and John Wong, both of San Francisco, Calif.

The bride-to-be is the daughter of Robert and Martha Borland of West Sunbury. The prospective bridegroom is the son of Lourdes Wong of San Francisco.

The bride-elect is a 1996 graduate of Moniteau High School and a 2000 graduate of Syracuse University, where she received a bachelor's in environmental design. She is self-employed at Emily Borland Specifications Inc. in San Francisco.

Her fiance graduated in 1987 from St. Ignatius College Preparatory and in 1992 from the University of California at Berkeley with a bachelor's in architecture. He is employed by Vance Brown Builders in Palo Alto, Calif.
