Mars Library was awarded a $4,000 grant to support programming for adults age 55 and older. The Pennsylvania Department of Education, Office of Commonwealth Libraries, accepted applications from public libraries to support services and programming to those 55 and older through the creation of a Senior Space. Six libraries in Pennsylvania including Mars were awarded grants.The library also is seeking adults who are residents of Mars, Adams Township, Middlesex Township or Valencia to serve on an advisory board.——The winners at the Butler Duplicate Bridge Club on Sept. 30 were:First:
