Guidotti

Thomas A. Guidotti, 63, of Butler passed away Thursday at Butler Memorial Hospital following a prolonged illness.

Born in Butler, May 7, 1947, he was the son of the late Armando and Mary Petrigni Guidotti.

Tom was a retired chef from the Runway Restaurant. He also was employed at Pullman Standard until it closed.

Tom was a graduate of Butler High School, Class of 1965.

He enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping, golf and bowling.

He was a veteran of the Vietnam War having served in the Air Force and was a member of the American Legion Post 117 of Butler and the Italian Society of Butler.

Surviving are his wife, Nancy Hartle Guidotti to whom he was married for 14 years; one son, Michael Guidotti and his wife, Shannon, of Butler; one daughter, Lena Guidotti of Ebensburg, Cambria County; one stepson, James Fitzpatrick and his wife, Julie, of Butler; one stepdaughter, Heather Moore and her husband, Torre, of Butler; one brother, Ronald Guidotti of Minden, Nev.; and eight grandchildren, Kirk, Jarod and Layne Guidotti of Butler, Robert, Makensie and Conner Fitzpatrick of Butler and Trever and Tayler Moore of Butler.

<B>GUIDOTTI</B> — Friends of Thomas A. Guidotti, who died Thursday, Aug. 26, 2010, will be received from 7 to 9 p.m. Saturday and from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday in the <B>Martin Funeral Home</B>, 429 Center Ave., Butler. A blessing service will be at 10 a.m. Monday at the funeral home with Father James Dolan and the Rev. Matthew Perkins officiating. Burial will be in the St. Michael Cemetery.Information also is available at www.martinfh.net.
