Mabel I. Deemer

Mabel I. Deemer, 92, of the Evergreen Nursing Home, Harmony, formerly of Evans City, died peacefully Wednesday.

Born Oct. 14, 1917, in Beaver, she was the daughter of John and Tenise Brady Davis.

Mrs. Deemer enjoyed reading and was an avid Pirates and Steelers fan.

She is survived by two sisters, Kay Villella of Sewickley and Frances Campbell (Dean) of Zelienople; a brother, Charles Davis (Jean) of Zelienople; three grandchildren, Susan Howarth (Daniel) of Maryland, Kim Deemer Perry (Brent) of Fairfax, Va., and Richard Deemer of Maryland; and four great-grandchildren, Zach, Jake and Travis, Perry and Scott Howarth.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Calvin Deemer; a son, William Deemer; a daughter, Bette R. Deemer; her twin sister, Marie Kirstatter and a sister, Martha Dzuric.

<B>DEEMER</B> — Graveside services and interment for Mabel I. Deemer, who died Wednesday, Aug. 25, 2010, were at 12:30 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 28, in the Chapel at Beaver Cemetery.Arrangements were entrusted to the <B>Boylan Funeral Home</B>, Evans City, and online condolences may be submitted at www.boylanfuneralhome.com.
