Dean O'Brokta and Kim McMenamin

An April 2 wedding is being planned by Kim McMenamin and Dean O'Brokta, both of Pittsburgh.

The bride-to-be is the daughter of James and Jessica McMenamin of Slippery Rock. Parents of the prospective bridegroom are Judy and Joseph O'Brokta of Saxonburg.

The bride-elect is a 1999 graduate of Slippery Rock High School. She received a bachelor's degree in 2003 in studio art from Wilson College and a master's in 2010 in education from Edinboro University. She is employed by the National Network of Digital Schools in East Liverpool, Ohio.

Her fiance graduated in 2003 from Knoch High School and in 2007 with a bachelor's degree in history from Slippery Rock University. He is employed by Veterans Affairs in Pittsburgh.
