Christie and Jeffrey Szura

Christie Bergbigler and Jeffrey Szura, both of Raleigh, N.C., were united in marriage June 16 in Punta Cana, Dominican Republic.

The bride is the daughter of Patricia and Bernard Bergbigler of Butler. Parents of the bridegroom are Elaine and Peter Szura of Butler.

Bridesmaids included Lauren Parker of Wexford, Stacey Szura of Butler and Leather Burchett of Butler.

Ushers included Ryan Parker of Wexford, Joshua Burchett of Butler and Bradley Cordray of Butler.

The bride is a 2003 graduate of Butler High School. She is employed by WakeMed Hospital in Raleigh, N.C.

The bridegroom graduated in 1999 from Butler High School. He is employed by CREE in Durham, N.C.

The couple is making their home in Raleigh, N.C.
