SLIPPERY ROCK — District Judge Tim Shaffer recently heard these cases:

Steven Abraham, 20, of Pittsburgh waived to court charges of simple assault, conspiracy to commit simple assault, trespass, disorderly conduct and two counts of harassment, filed Feb. 2 by Slippery Rock University police.

Raymond L. Ayers, 29, no known address, waived to court charges of simple assault and disorderly conduct, filed Aug. 4 by state police.

Keith Anderson, 52, of Slippery Rock waived to court charges of driving under the influence and driving with a suspended license, filed Aug. 25 by SRU police.

Dustin J. Blinn, 27, of Butler waived to court charges of DUI, driving with a suspended license and disregarding traffic lanes, filed Aug. 4 by Slippery Rock police.

Joshua M. Gillespie, 30, of Pittsburgh waived to court a charge of possessing drug paraphernalia, filed July 7 by state police.

Jesse J. Hynes, 30, of Greensburg, Westmoreland County, waived to court charges of simple assault and disorderly conduct, filed Aug. 4 by state police.

Pete Lopez IV, 34, of New Castle waived to court two counts of burglary, three counts of trespass and seven counts each of theft and receiving stolen property, and criminal mischief, filed in two cases May 19 by state police.

Maurice E. Madden, 25, of North Hills, Montgomery County, pleaded guilty to a charge of disorderly conduct, filed Aug. 29 by state police. Madden was sentenced to time served in the Butler County Prison between Aug. 29 and Sept. 8.

Shelly Marie McNamee, 39, of Portersville waived to court charges of simple assault, terroristic threats and harassment, filed Aug. 28 by state police.

John H. Montgomery III, 21, of Butler waived to court a charge of receiving stolen property, filed May 26 by state police.

Todd C. Montgomery, 26, of Grove City waived to court two counts of access device fraud and charges of theft and receiving stolen property, filed July 18 by state police.

Scott R. Moore, 25, of New Castle waived to court charges of theft, receiving stolen property, conspiracy, defiant trespass and false identification to law enforcement authorities, filed Sept. 11 by state police.

Matthew J. Murphy, 34, of Seven Fields waived to court three counts each of identity theft, theft by deception and receiving stolen property, and eight counts of access device fraud, filed May 18 by state police.

Christopher S. Newcomb, 21, of Slippery Rock waived to court a charge of DUI, field June 30 by state police.

William J. Shaw III, 21, of Butler waived to court a charge of receiving stolen property, filed May 26 by state police.

Dustin S. Staab, 23, of Harrisville was held for court on charges of DUI, failure to keep right, disregarding traffic lanes, driving at an unsafe speed and careless driving, filed June 10 by state police.

Justin R. Wallace, 27, of Slippery Rock waived to court charges of aggravated assault, resisting arrest, four counts of disorderly conduct, careless driving, a stop sign violation, driving a car without inspection and not carrying his driver's license, filed Sept. 4 by SRU police.
