Ronald L. Jordan, 65, formerly of Butler, passed away July 31 at his home in Remlap, Ala.

Raised in Chicora, he was the son of the late Lott and Mary Jordan.

He was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force and retired from Armco, now AK Steel, in 2001.

He is survived by his mother, Mary, of Remlap, Ala.; his wife, Carol Anne Jordan and children, Sarah Lowery and Spencer Lowery of Remlap, Ala.; a son, Steven Jordan and his wife, Kimberly, of Austin, Texas; a daughter, Tracy Smith and her husband, Jeff, of Macungie, Pa.; his brother, David and his wife, Linda, of Pleasantville, Pa.; and five grandsons, Jaimee and Blake Jordan and Ryan, Cal and George Smith. He also is survived by his nieces, Angela and Laura; as well as numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.
