Butler Twp — The Butler County Community College Education Foundation raised almost $60,000 at its 15th annual Golf Outing Aug. 23 at the Butler Country Club.

There were 100 golfers who participated. The first place team was from NexTier Bank with golfers Craig Grenci, Dick Tito, Al Crawford and Mike Sheehy. Second place went to the Butler Eagle with golfers Ron Vodenichar, Ken Fair, Dave Matteoni and Vance Smith.

Smith also won the longest drive along with Cheryl Cranmer.

The longest putts went to Bill DiCuccio and Susan Shamey.

Funds raised support student scholarships, college technology and equipment upgrades, and environmental educational programs at BC3's Succop Conservancy. The title sponsor was NexTier Bank.
