Charles Frampton

Charles A. Frampton, 78, a resident of Frampton Road, Harrisville, Mercer Township, since 1965, died at 5:55 p.m. Thursday at Butler Memorial Hospital following a 3-month illness.

Born in Eau Claire, Jan. 2, 1932, he was the son of Vinter V. Frampton and Harriet Stillwagon Frampton.

He married Louise T. Duffy in August, 1954.

Charles retired as a general foreman in 1994 from Satec Systems, Grove City, where he was employed for more than 30 years.

He was a graduate of Harrisville High School, Class of 1950; and he served in the U.S. Marine Corps 3rd Battalion, 1st Marine Division during the Korean conflict.

He was a lifetime member of American Legion Post 840, Harrisville.

Surviving are his wife, Louise at home; three children, Chuck Frampton and his wife Meredith of Acton, Mass., Theresa "Terri" Kuerschner and her husband, Jeff, of Upper Darby, Delaware County and Tracy Frampton of Slippery Rock; five grandchildren, Ben and Nathan Kuerschner and Devon, Danielle and Conor Frampton; two sisters, Sonja Mace and her husband, Ernie, and Susie Frampton, both Frankfurt, Ky.; and four brothers, Scott Frampton and his wife, Mary, of Grove City, Sam Frampton, Jerry Frampton and Larry Frampton and his wife, Karen, all of Harrisville.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two sisters, Beth Evans and Louise Bell; and six brothers, John Frampton, Jay Stillwagon, Richard Frampton, James Frampton, Russ Frampton and Gene Frampton.

<B>FRAMPTON</B> — Visitation hours for Charles A. Frampton, who died Thursday, July 29, 2010, are from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday at <B>Cunningham Funeral Home Inc.</B>, Grove City. Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Monday at the funeral home with the Rev. Father Kevin G. Poecking presiding. Burial will be at St. Anthony's Cemetery, Harrisville.
