LeRoy R. Jack
LeRoy R. Jack, 91, of Sarver passed away Friday at St. Clair Memorial Hospital in Pittsburgh.
Born Oct. 1, 1918, in Ivywood, he was the son of John P. Jack and Ruth Fleming Jack.
He married Thelma Henderson Jack on Dec. 7, 1937.
He was a lifelong farmer and co-founder of Jack's Ford in 1947, where he ran the service department. He was founder of Jack's Wheelhorse and was one of the top dealers in Pennsylvania.
He enjoyed going to Florida, attending many area fairs, farm animals and mowing grass.
He was the beloved father of Rita (Clyde) Bush of Sarver, Carol (Jack) Kepple of Natrona Heights, and Linda Jack of Sarver. He is also survived by a sister, Velma (John) Havenner of Issue, Md., five grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren, four great-great-grandchildren, a niece and a nephew.
He was preceded in death by wife, Thelma Henderson Jack, on Dec. 5, 2006; his parents; a daughter, Dorothy Guarnieri; and two brothers, John J. "Joe" Jack and Clifford Jack.
<B>JACK</B> — Friends of LeRoy R. Jack, who died Friday, July 23, 2010, will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. today at the <B>Fox Funeral Home Inc.</B>, 410 W. Main St. Saxonburg. Services will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday at the funeral home with the Rev. Donn Ed officiating.
