Elderly man drowns in backyard Buffalo Twp. pool
BUFFALO TWP — An elderly man drowned this morning in a backyard pool on Ekastown Road.
Butler County Coroner William Young III said he would conduct an autopsy this afternoon to determine the cause of death, with results expected by Wednesday morning.
While Buffalo Township police are investigating the death, Young said it appears the man, said to be 80, was cleaning his in-ground pool when he somehow fell in and drowned.
