Eileen G. Grabenstein
Eileen G. Grabenstein, 86, of Evans City died Saturday at Worthington at Adams.
Born March 11, 1924, in Pittsburgh, she was the daughter of the late Richard H. and Gertrude (Garvey) Kohl.
Mrs. Grabenstein was a faithful member of St. Ferdinand Catholic Church in Cranberry Township for 35 years.
She enjoyed spending time with her family while vacationing and traveling. She also enjoyed playing cards.
She was the loving mother of Ken Grabenstein and his wife, Geri, of Shaler Township, Lynn Snead of Lebanon, Pa., Skip Grabenstein and his wife, Nancy Faye, of West View, Deb Lehman and her husband, Jeff, of Upper St. Clair and Chuck Grabenstein and his wife, Maureen, of Evans City. Also surviving are 14 grandchildren, five great-grandchildren and her faithful and loyal friend, Nancy Mae Lindsay of Evans City.
She was preceded in death in 1983 by her beloved husband, Earl Grabenstein, the former chief of police in Ross Township. In addition, she was preceded in death by two brothers and a stepsister.
<B>GRABENSTEIN</B> — There will be no visitation for Eileen G. Grabenstein, who died Saturday, June 12, 2010. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Wednesday at St. Ferdinand Catholic Church, 2535 Rochester Road, Cranberry Township.
