ZELIENOPLE — The Calvin Café Singles will host a singles dance from 7 to 11:30 p.m. July 23 at Calvin Presbyterian Church, 415 E. Grandview Ave.

The $10 admission includes lessons with Juliann Tasick, music by disc jockey Tom Menchyk and a meal of hot dogs with chili sauce, watermelon and cake.

CABOT — Stan Malecki will presents a program on pioneer cooking for children from 1 to 4 p.m. Sunday at Cooper Cabin 199 Cooper Road. Participants will experience the foods pioneer children helped prepare for their daily meals.Docent-led tours of the cabin and outbuildings will be available. Admission fees are $3 for adults, $1 for senior citizens and ages 5 to 17, and free for members and children under 5.

HARMONY — The Harmony Business Association will host a car cruise from 1 to 4 p.m. July 17.Participants should arrive by 12:30 p.m. in the parking lot of Connoquenessing Valley Elementary School, 300 Pittsburgh St. The cruise begins at 1 p.m. The cars will travel west on Beaver Street, north through Zelienople on Main Street, east on Grandview Avenue and north on Harmony's Main Street into the National Historic Landmark District, where they will be displayed until 4 p.m.Late arrivals should go directly to Harmony's diamond at Main and Mercer streets.
