A heart of gold stopped beating

Ten years ago today

Two beautiful, shining eyes at rest

Our hearts were broken on that terrible day

But God proved that he only took the very best.

You did not go alone

Because a part of me went with you...

A smile I would love to see

A hand I would love to touch

A voice I would love to hear

A face I miss so much.

Time goes by without you

And the days have turned in to years

They hold a thousand memories

And a thousand silent tears.

I think of you with love today

But that is nothing new

Because I thought of you yesterday

And the day before that.

I will think of you tomorrow

And every day after

For the day I fail to think of you

Will be the day I will be with you again.
