Lifesteps' Early Education Centers, 383 New Castle Road in Butler Township and 339 B Lindsay Road in Jackson Township, are enrolling for summer camp programs open to children with and without special needs.The program for children from ages 3 to 5 is offered from 9 to 11:30 a.m. Mondays through Fridays from July 6 to Aug. 20. Children attend two, three or five days a week.Those enrolled will participate in activities surrounding beach and water fun; camping; circus and carnivals; Disney, and the zoo.Lifesteps is also enrolling for its full- and part-time child care program for children as early as six weeks old. WINFIELD TWP — Concordia Haven Apartments will host a weekly educational series on the Civil War. The course will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesdays from July 6 to Aug. 3 in the Haven III third floor card room, 160 Marwood Road.David Straite, a recently retired educator with the Moniteau School District, will teach the series.
