OFF AND RUNNING
These three owners of mopeds got together for a mini-moped convention in front of The Butler Eagle building one morning in 1979. From left are Dr. Leroy Potter, Bill Dunn and Anthony M. Thomas, all three of whom were reportedly pleased with their gas saving motorized bikes. Just like today, high gas prices were making people consider travel alternatives.
