Diane Maxwell Mateer and Matthew Mateer

Diana Maxwell and Matthew Mateer, both of Butler, were united in marriage May 7 in Miami Beach, Fla. Justice of the Peace Nancy Muro officiated.

The bride is the daughter of Ann Gehrling of Clearwater, Fla., and the late Charles Gehrling. Parents of the bridegroom are the late Ivan and Sherry Mateer.

The bride is a 1982 graduate of Penn Hills High School. She is the owner of Diane Maxwell Photography in Butler.

The bridegroom graduated in 1990 from Wilmington Area High School. He is employed by Portola Packacing in Batavia, Ill.

Following a honeymoon trip on a Western Caribbean cruise, the couple is making their home in Butler.
