KC school chief won't retire
KARNS CITY — Plans have changed for the Karns City School District superintendent, but the face in the office won't.
Previously, Larry Henry announced he would retire at the end of this school year. He also signed a contract to stay on with the district as acting superintendent through 2011.
However on Monday the school board reversed that action by canceling Henry's acting superintendent contract and extending his current contract to June 30, 2011.
It also rescinded his notice of retirement.
