GRADUATES
Jessica Mondani graduated May 30 with a Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine degree from the Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine. Her fiance Jeremy Johnson hooded her at the commencement ceremony.She received the Dedication to Primary Care Award in Pediatrics. She was a member of the Student Osteopathic Medicine Association, the International Medical Society, UAAO and the Phi Sigma Honorary.She published a research paper in the American College of Osteopathic Pediatrician's Journal and presented it at the American Osteopathic Association in New Orleans, where she was selected as student representative to the pediatric wellness committee.She has accepted a residency and fellowship program in pediatrics/neonatology at Rainbow Babies Children's Hospital at Case Western in Cleveland.She is a 2001 graduate of Knoch High School. She graduated in 2005 with a bachelor's degree in molecular and cellular biology from Washington and Jefferson College.She is the daughter of David and Marsha Mondani of Butler.———
<B>Marissa Toogood</B>, formerly of Butler, graduated in June from the Florida School of the Arts in Palatka, Fla.A full scholarship recipient, she completed an associate of arts degree in liberal arts, and an associate of science degree in musical theater.While at FloArts, Toogood was a two-time nominee for the Irene Ryan Theater Arts National Scholarship Award. She received nominations for her performances in the comedy "I Love You, You're Perfect, Now Change," and in the historical drama "Kindertransport," in which she played the lead role of Eva.An honors graduate from the Performing Arts Magnet at Dr. Phillips High School in Orlando, Fla., she was selected as the outstanding senior performance student by the faculty and as the most likely to succeed in music.She will continue her studies next fall in the musical theater program at the University of Florida.She is the daughter of Becky Toogood and Jay Toogood of Butler. She is the granddaughter of Jim and Madeline Toogood of Butler, Maxine McKee of Butler, and Harold "Mick" McKee of Hampstead, N.C.<B>Douglas Pichler</B> of Butler graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in biochemistry from Grove City College. While at Grove City, he was a Kemikos Chemistry Honorary and an organic chemistry lab assistant. He was also a member of the American Chemical Society and Delta Rho Sigma housing group. He will pursue a Doctor of Pharmacy degree this fall at the University of Pittsburgh School of Pharmacy. A 2006 graduate of Butler High School, he is the son of William and Deborah Pichler of Butler.
<B>Stephanie Hinchberger </B>graduated magna cum laude May 7 from the A.J. Palumbo School of Business Administration at Duquesne University with dual majors in supply chain management and marketing.At Duquesne, she made the dean's list every semester and finished with a cumulative grade point average of 3.8. She was a member of Alpha Sigma Tau, a social sorority, where she served for two years as the recruitment director. She also was inducted into Beta Gamma Sigma business honors fraternity.She recently returned from a study abroad program offered by Duquesne University. She and other students visited Ireland, Hungary and Austria and attended several business lectures, visited the Alcoa offices in Budapest and experienced many of the cultural surroundings and customs of these countries.Hinchberger will begin her career at Bechtel Plant Machinery in Monroeville. She is the daughter of Jeff and Gail Hinchberger of Sarver.———

<B>Alyce Porch </B>of Butler graduated summa cum laude with a B.S.E.D. in elementary education and a B.A. in Spanish from Slippery Rock University.While at Slippery Rock, she made the dean's list each semester. She was accepted to the Urban Student Teaching and Mexico Student Teaching programs. A 2006 graduate of Knoch High School, she is the daughter of Tamara Porch Kleinfelder and Carl Kleinfelder of Butler and the late Jeffrey Porch.———<B>Nicole Blackwell</B> of Butler graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in English education from Northland Baptist International University. <B>Deborah Torosi</B> graduated May 15 with a Juris Doctor degree from Whittier Law School in Orange County, Calif.A 1993 graduate of Butler High School, she earned a bachelor's degree in political science in 2006 from California State University at Northridge. While at Whittier, she studied abroad in France.Torosi will take the California State Bar Exam in July.Torosi and her husband, Dale Fisher, reside in Costa Mesa, Calif.
