J. Eric Kara and Rebecca Henne

A Sept. 4 wedding is being planned by Rebecca Henne and J. Eric Kara, both of Cheswick.

The bride-to-be is the daughter of Tom and Gayle Henne of Valencia. Parents of the prospective bridegroom are John and Carol Kara of Perryopolis.

The bride-elect is a 1998 graduate of Mars High School and a 2003 graduate of Indiana (Pa.) University. She will graduate in June with a master's degree in elementary education from the University of Pittsburgh.

Her fiance graduated from Frazier High School. He graduated in 2003 with a master's degree in business administration from Indiana (Pa.) University. He is employed as a financial adviser by Morgan Stanley.
