SAXONBURG — District Judge Sue Haggerty recently heard these cases:
Richard Alwine, 37, of Saxonburg waived to court charges of simple assault and harassment, filed May 4 by state police.
Kelly Booher, 45, of Vandergrift, Allegheny County, was held for court on charges of driving without a license, driving with a suspended license, driving without insurance and without inspection, driving an unregistered vehicle, and altering a license plate or document, filed April 20 by Buffalo Township police.
Janice Bowser, 35, of Sarver waived to court charges of hit-and-run, failing to give information or render aid after an accident, and improperly entering or crossing a road, filed May 6 by Buffalo Township police.
Casey Cavanaugh, 22, of Tarentum, Allegheny County, waived to court a charge of driving under the influence, filed May 2 by Buffalo Township police.
Bruce Huff, 36, of Saxonburg waived to court charges of DUI, hit-and-run and failing to immediately notify police of an accident, filed April 27 by Penn Township police.
Matthew Macher, 31, of Butler waived to court charges of simple assault, reckless endangerment and terroristic threats, filed May 18 by state police.
BUTLER TWP — District Judge Kevin O'Donnell recently heard these cases:Kristopher A. Barkus, 21, of Butler waived to court charges of carrying a gun without a permit, driving under the influence, driving at an unsafe speed, careless driving, reckless driving, improperly passing a school bus and a flashing signal violation, filed April 28 by Butler Township police.Sean Burdick, 28, of Binghampton, N.Y., pleaded guilty to a charge of disorderly conduct, filed May 7 by Butler Township police. Burdick was ordered to pay $352 in fines and court costs.Ryan L. Hewett, 27, of Cranberry Township pleaded guilty to charges of possessing a controlled substance and drug paraphernalia, filed April 28 by Butler Township police. Hewett was ordered to pay $913.50 in fines and court costs.Michael D. Hofmeister, 32, of Renfrew waived to court charges of DUI, driving at an unsafe speed and a lane violation, filed April 19 by Butler Township police.Kendra M. Konar, 30, of Butler pleaded guilty to a charge of disorderly conduct, filed Feb. 1 by Butler Township police. Konar was ordered to pay $452 in fines and court costs.Kurt V. Long, 45, of Butler pleaded guilty to charges of false identification to law enforcement authorities and public drunkenness, filed April 19 by Butler Township police. Long was ordered to pay $563.50 in fines and court costs.Carl S. Matuke, 42, of Butler was held for court on charges of possessing a controlled substance and drug paraphernalia, and careless driving, filed April 20 by Butler Township police.James W. McDeavitt, 25, of Renfrew waived to court charges of DUI, driving at an unsafe speed, careless driving and a lane violation, filed April 12 by Butler Township police.Lucas B. McMillen, 30, of Kittanning waived to court charges of DUI, making an illegal turn and not obeying traffic control devices, filed April 28 by Butler Township police.Joseph M. Musick, 42, of Butler waived to court charges of corruption of minors, unlawful contact with a minor and two counts of indecent assault, filed April 20 by state police.
CHICORA — District Judge Lewis Stoughton recently heard these cases filed by state police:Joshua Frey, 22, of Karns City pleaded guilty to a charge of theft from a vehicle, filed May 22. Frey was ordered to pay $513.50 in restitution, fines and court costs.Quinn Long, 30, of Renfrew waived to court charges of driving under the influence and speeding, filed April 23.Eric J. Mulneix, 44, of Chicora waived to court charges of terroristic threats and reckless endangerment, filed May 23. In a separate case filed May 21, he waived a charge of possessing drug paraphernalia.Lawrence Rihn, 42, of Emlenton, Venango County, waived to court charges of DUI, four counts of reckless endangerment, driving with a suspended license, reckless driving and an open container violation, filed March 4.Brittany Williams, 19, of Butler was held for court on charges of possessing a controlled substance, theft and theft of services in two complaints filed April 9.
