Portersville Christian - May 22
Commencement ceremonies for Portersville Christian School were held May 22 at the school on East Portersville Road.
Student speakers were
Catherine Faull, valedictorian, and
Jessica Niederlander, salutatorian.• Faull is the daughter of Douglas and Jennifer Faull of Grove City. She is senior class president and vice president of student council. She also has served on the school morning announcement team and was student director in two school musicals.Faull is the recipient of the President's Education Award for Outstanding Academic Excellence and scholarship awards in pre-calculus, history, Bible, honors chemistry and honors world literature. She also received a Distinguished Christian High School Student Award and a Certificate of Participation in Fine Arts.Faull plans to major in pre-veterinary medicine at Grace College.
• Niederlander is the daughter of Ralph and Alison Niederlander of Butler. She has served as yearbook editor, was a cheerleader and participated in two school musicals.Niederlander is a recipient of the President's Education Award Program for Outstanding Academic Excellence and received scholarship awards in consumer math, Bible, honors chemistry, honors world literature and independent study of French III. She also received a Distinguished Christian High School Student Award, a certificate of participation in Fine Arts and a yearbook certificate of appreciation.She plans to attend Houghton College, where she will major in English Writing.Class officers are <B>Catherine Faull</B>, president; <B>Megan Coomber</B>, vice president; <B>Samantha Vosmaer</B>, treasurer; and <B>Alyssa Tyson</B>, secretary.
