The Winfield Township Volunteer Fire Company is conducting its annual fund drive. To donate, mail contributions to the Winfield Township VFC, P.O. Box 281, Cabot, PA 16023.

PROSPECT — St. John's Stone Church, Stone Church Road, will host its annual strawberry festival at 4 p.m. June 12. There will be sandwiches, sides and various desserts.

MARS — St. John Specialty Care Center, 500 Wittenberg Way, will hold a Tropical Breezes Fashion Show at 2 p.m. June 12 in Vesper Hall.Residents will model tropical fashions, and there will be refreshments and a gift basket raffle. A bus trip to the Rivers Casino in Pittsburgh is planned for June 9. The bus leaves at 10 a.m. from Tanglewood Center, 10 Austin Ave., and loads for the return trip at 4:30 p.m. Sign up by May 30 at the Center or call 724-287-0021. A $15 deposit is due at registration for the $25 trip. The balance is due Wednesday.

LYNDORA — Donations are being accepted until Thursday at the Tanglewood Center, 10 Austin Ave., for a rummage sale set for 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Friday. For information, call 724-287-0021.

HARMONY — The Harmony Museum, 218 Mercer St., will host an herb and garden fair from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. June 12 in and around the barn museum at 303 Mercer Road.Gardeners may trade potted plants. Specialty vendors will offer heritage vegetables, herbs, roses and other ornamentals, perennials and garden art. Experts will answer questions, and there will be a flea market. Those who take plants to the fair will receive vouchers for other plants. For information, call 724-452-7341.

EVANS CITY — Registration will be held June 14 and 15 for the summer reading program at Evans City Library, 204 S. Jackson St. Children must visit the library to register and pick up materials. For information, call 724-538-8695.

Butler Downtown, in conjunction with the Butler County Historical Society, will host their second season of tours of historic downtown Butler. Walking tours are scheduled for 7 to 9 p.m. June 17; 4:30 to 6 p.m. July 8; and 1:30 to 3 p.m. Sept. 12. A trolley tour will run from 1:30 to 3 p.m. Aug. 8.
