James Wesley

James Wesley of Butler graduated with a master's degree in school counseling from Duquesne University. Wesley was inducted into the Golden Key International Honor Society due to his academic achievements. He is also a member of the American School Counselor's Association. Wesley earned his bachelor's degree in elementary education in 2001. He is the son of Ron and Cathy Wesley.———

Kevin Ference graduated with distinction May 15 from Purdue University with a Bachelor of Science degree in aviation management with emphasis on airline management and air traffic control.While at Purdue, he was a member of the All American Marching Band, Symphonic Band and the girl's basketball pep band. He participated in Purdue Pilots Inc., was on the dean's list for eight semesters and was a four-time recipient of the Gabriel A. Hartl Air Traffic Control Scholarship. He has accepted a position at the MITRE Corporation in McLean, Va.A 2006 graduate of Seneca Valley High School, he is the son of Mary and Dean Ference of Cranberry Township.———

Jessica Schnur of Butler graduated from Allegheny College with a Bachelor of Science degree in mathematics with a minor in economics.While at Allegheny, she was an Alden Scholar and received the PICPA Outstanding Senior Award. She was a member of the Pi Mu Epsilon Honor Society. She also received the John Campbell Scholarship, Corrine Warh Scholarship and the Nancy Rywland Scholarship.She is now attending the Katz School of Business at the University of Pittsburgh to obtain a master's degree in accounting.A 2006 graduate of Butler High School, she is the daughter of David and Denise Schnur. ———

Matthew Schnur of Butler graduated summa cum laude with a Doctor of Pharmacy degree from Duquesne University, Mylan School of Pharmacy. While at Duquesne, he was a member of Rho Chi Honors Society and recipient of Duquesne University's Founders and Provost Merit Scholarships and the Minnie Hyman Scholarship.He will begin a PGY1 pharmacy practice residency at Henrico Doctor's Hospital in Richmond, Va.A 2004 graduate of Butler High School, he is the son of David and Denise Schnur of Butler.———

Arthur Black IV of Renfrew graduate summa cum laude with a Bachelor of Science degree in music education from Messiah College.While at Messiah, Black was the recipient of a President's Scholarship, the Pressor Foundation Scholarship and the Mr. and Mrs. E. Frey Endowed Scholarship.He was a four-year member of the varsity cross country and track and field teams. As a senior he received the Messiah Senior Men's Scholar Athlete Award and the Jazz Award.Black has been accepted into the jazz studies program at Indiana University in Bloomington, Ind.A 2006 graduate of Knoch High School, he is the son of Janet and Art Black of Renfrew.———

Erin E.J. Black of Gallup, N.M., formerly of Renfrew, graduated with a masters of teaching degree from the University of New Mexico.She is employed by the Gallup/ McKinley School District in New Mexico. She is a third-grade teacher at Church Rock Academy on the Navajo Reservation.She is a 2007 graduate of Messiah College, where she earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in music with a concentration in church music.A 2003 graduate of Knoch High School, she is the daughter of Janet and Art Black of Renfrew.———

Clinton Graham of Butler graduated from Penn State University with a degree in mechanical engineering and a minor in engineering mechanics. At Penn State, he was a member of the race car team.He has accepted employment in the advanced tire development group at Bridgestone/Firestone of Americas in Akron, Ohio.A 2005 graduate of Knoch High School, he is the son of Sharon Graham of Butler and Dean Graham of Connoquenessing.———Amy Rape of Rochester, Ind., graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in elementary and special education from Huntington University in Huntington, Ind. She is the daughter of Dale and Rosann Rape of Butler and Susan Pritts of Rochester, Ind.———

Maria Klutinoty of Akron, Ohio, graduated summa cum laude with a Juris Doctorate degree and Litigation Certificate from the University of Akron School of Law.She graduated first in her class and received the 2010 Jenkins Award for highest scholastic achievement.She was a member of the Akron Law Review editorial board and her article, "Exxon Shipping Co. v. Baker: Why the Supreme Court Missed the Boat on Punitive Damages," was published in the 43rd volume of the Akron Law Review.She was a member of the Moot Court Honor Society 2010 national championship team that won the National Moot Court Competition in Child Welfare and Adoption Law at Capital Law School.She will begin her career as an associate at Tzangas, Plakas, Mannos and Raies in Canton, Ohio, after taking the bar exam.She graduated in 2004 from Butler High School and in 2007 from Grove City College. She is the daughter of Jim and Laurie Klutinoty of Butler.———
