Covenant PresbyCovenant Presbyterian Church, 230 E. Jefferson St., will celebrate Pentecost Sunday with a continental breakfast and show and tell for all ages. The Sacrament of Communion will be celebrated. A salad and dessert luncheon with a presentation on the legacy of Covenant Church will be in the assembly room after worship. Sunday school and the choir will be on summer hiatus starting Sunday.

First Baptist of ButlerFirst Baptist Christian School, a ministry of First Baptist Church, 221 W. New Castle St., will have kindergarten and sixth grade graduation at 7 p.m. today.The Berean Sunday school class will meet at 3 p.m. Friday at the church to visit shut-ins, then at 5 p.m. at King's. The class will then meet at the Baptist Youth Center.Teen boys will go on a camping trip, and the teen girls will go on a shopping trip and have a sleepover Friday and Saturday.Lunch will be served at noon Sunday. There will be no evening service. First English LutheranSunday is Pentecost at First English Lutheran Church, 241 N. Main St., Butler. Holy Communion will be served at the 8:30 and 11 a.m. services. Confirmation will be held at 11 a.m. Sunday.
